A 49-year-old Lyons woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court later this month after police executed a search warrant on her home yesterday (Thursday, April 12).
Members from ACT Policing’s Crime Targeting Team executed a search warrant on the Lyons home about 1.40 pm, locating over 400 items police suspect to be stolen.
These items, which include clothing, CDs and DVDs, were seized by police and enquiries are continuing into the ownership.
The woman was arrested at the end of the search warrant and taken to the ACT Watch House where she was charged with minor theft and later bailed. She is due to attend court on Thursday, April 26.
Further charges may be laid at a later date.
