ACT Policing is seeking witnesses after a stolen white Ford Meteor collided with the ACTEWAGL electricity substation in Hume yesterday morning (May 12).
Around 3am, the Ford Meteor, with two occupants collided with the substation on Tralee Street, causing extensive damage to the vehicle and substation.
As a result of the damage to the substation, some areas of Hume experienced electricity interruptions.
Police are urging anyone that may have witnessed the collision or can assist in the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800333000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
