I don’t think they even have the poke option on FB anymore. I think it went during the “upgrade” which also saw the removal of the favourite quote from your profile page.

But it started so many years ago on ICQ, which in turn turned into a nudge on MSN, then Facebook brought back the poke.

…on Facebook, it simply means “Oi! Champ!”. Used anywhere else in Oz, it means the same thing it has for many, many years…
