You are hurtling along Ginninderra Dr and espy out of your left eye this sign.
Just what does it tell you?

or like woolies using money to claim they are the “fresh food people” when we all are aware they sell bad fresh produce. I’ve changed nappies with fresher vegies in them.
Lol. Another oxymoron, like “ACT Road Works”, military intelligence, ministerial responsibility, independent auditor, friendly fire, fun run, honour killings, and airline food

Really — Microsoft has abandoned Silverlight? That’s surprising, seeing they issued a new release of Silverlight on their website just six or seven days ago. It’s one of a number of browser plugin sites that I monitor daily for updates.
The writing is on the wall for Silverlight. Even though Microsoft haven’t officially announced it, their dev team are moving (like everyone else) to HTML5:

‘…or like woolies using money to claim they are the “fresh food people”…’
Inverted advertising rule – take the message and reverse it to see what the advertiser’s research is telling them about their profile.
Woolworths – Stale Food People
Qantas – No longer Australian
ANZ – We live in the clouds
And so forth …

Bah… to check the Nationbuilding site you have to have Silverlight installed (a Flash competitor project which Microsoft has abandoned), so I can’t figure out which project that is referring to.
Silverlight? They’ve got to be joking!

Wow, they looked at a bridge.
Not unlike when Coles/Woolies give a school $2k then spend $20k on advertising to beat their chest about it.
Is that kinda like when Woolies, after screwing farmers all year, had a ‘Backing Our Farmers Day’ so they could say how good they were to farmers? Wouldn’t it just have been easier to simply not screw the farmers so much in the first place? Then again, they don’t seem to have Backing Our Farmers Day anymore, so I suppose they just do the former now! Hahahaha!

About time something was done to increase the productivity of those lazy heavy vehicles
Classic bureaucratese straight out of the govt handbook ‘How to confuse and obfuscate the masses: a capability enhancing manual for maximising re-election potentiality of governments not meeting their key performance indicators’. I read my copy in bed every night

“We’ve wasted your money on lots of pointless signs.”

“What does it tell you?”
That Anthony Albanese’s advisers have decided featuring his mug on signage won’t attract votes!
Ah, here we go:
The Australian Government provided $0.55 million in 2008-09 under Round One of the program for the assessment (and strengthening if required) of bridges in the ACT to allow Higher Mass Limit (HML) vehicles to access key routes.
Bah… to check the Nationbuilding site you have to have Silverlight installed (a Flash competitor project which Microsoft has abandoned), so I can’t figure out which project that is referring to.
It screams ‘look what a wonderful job we are doing’. I don’t know what the sign means exactly and what exactly about that piece of road is relevant to heavy vehicles.
I once worked in a grants area and one of the criteria that would add impetus to your submission was an agreement to allow a government sign to be erected. That was under the Howard Government so nothing much has changed.
It says, loosely translated, we spent some stimulus money here and we’d appreciate your vote at the next election.
