Accident is at cnr Hindmarsh Drive + Williamson Street, Holder/Rivett.
Police + Fire crews in attendance. I would think this may take a little while to remove! 🙂
No other vehicles involved from what I can see.

that corner is too tight / lanes way too narrow (thanks to oversize bike lanes alongside) for big semis trying to take corner too fast. Not surprised it happened there
Blaming a couple of painted bike lanes for a top heavy truck going too fast around a corner and tipping over.
I see what you did there!

“Going too fast around the corner” cameras are being held off until after the next election.

If only we had point to point ‘safety’ cameras along the entire length of Hindmarsh, then this accident would have been avoided!
Nice sarcasm!

Has it been clear up now?? Anyone knows? When did the accident happen? I have to drive to that area about 4.30 pm today.
Happened around lunch time today,
About an hour ago Hindmarsh Drive was closed west of Streeton, East of Carbeen. Access to Williamson from Hindmarsh also closed. Police are diverting traffic.
A crane was on-site to move the concrete panels + a super-sized tow truck to remove the semi-trailer as well. An additional truck was being used to remove the concrete panels from site.
suggest you go another way then. It could take hours to get that thing up and going again.

Reminds me of the scene in Convoy wher the Black Widow rolled her truck. She got out & kicked it & said “Goddamn I knew I shoulda bought a black truck!!”
this is why i hate driving next to big trucks with an odd load on them
also part of why they have big signs saying “do not overtake turning vehicle”
