I need to get from Gungahlin to Fyshwick at 9.00 in the morning.
I don’t normally go that direction, can anyone suggest the least cr@p route to take?
I know they’re all bad, just wonder which way is the least bad?

In peak hour, Phillip Avenue, Officer Crescent, Limestone Avenue, Anzac Parade, Parkes Way, Morshead Drive.
It’s a very quick run with minimal chance of being caught in a 20-minute jam because of idiots colliding with each other. (All the idiots are off clogging up Majura Road).
Just keep your speed sensible on Officer Crescent.
This. I used to be a courier driver and Majura Rd is a carpark at that time of the morning even if no accidents it can take 30 mins from Brand Depot roundabouts to Fyshwick. Limestone Ave is a better route. Take it easy past the school on Limestone (don’t know name of it sorry), the one just before the War Memorial, the cops love setting up the radar there.
Federal Hwy/Sutton Rd is another alternative way but it adds about 10 mins onto the journey.
I would allow an hour travel time If you get there early then great, just grab a coffee or read the paper for a while, if you get there late then you might be in the sh!t depending on what you are going there for.

Go Horse Park/Majura Road. Even at 7:30am it takes up to 20 minutes on a bad day just to get from the Federal Highway to Fyshwick so allow a good 40-45 minutes from Gunners. But it`s still better than the alternatives.

Horse Park Dr and Majura road. Most of the plebs going to majura and brindabella parks should have cleared by 845-900.
It’ll still not great at that time. If it’s important, go Sutton Rd – Pialligo Ave – Dairy Flat Road. Although you’ll still cop the horrible block-up between Qbn and Fairbairn, especially mid-week.
