I thought this was going to be a story about a new Tibetan / Buddhist themed cafe
I am eternally disappointed that Kerry Packer failed to have a son named Allan…
For the new range of Vili’s pies. Chile hot. It alpacas a punch. I know, that’s even llama than usual.
The guy who runs that coffee van is a legend! We dropped by on the long weekend and grabbed a cuppa to warm up after watching the trooping of the colour. Each of our dogs got a doggy treat as well – very clever business strategy.
Also a good strategy – actually being open – which the cafe on the other side of the lake often isn’t, especially on long weekends.

Is that Honey?
I think it’s Honeycomb the Alpaca. Seen a few times at the Hospice visiting the patients for a cheer up.

Is that Honey? The alpaca/llama who gets about Canberra in the van with her owner? Used to get about in a Mazda 121 until someone helpfully complained to the police and it was banned. Funnily enough I have some pictures of her from years ago when me and my quite small child bumped into them at Griffith shops. Apparently brings happiness to a lot of less fortunate people around town – the ban was a bit of a pain until some kind person/s donated a van.
Wow really, someone saw it necessary to complain about the Alpaca in the Mazda?! Probably the same people who were complaining about dressing dogs up for the Million Paws walk being animal abuse.
I miss that sight of passing the 121 with the Alpaca with her head out of the rear window. But how awesome that they got given a van.

I’m pretty sure that’s an alpaca.
But the alliteration? Won’t someone please think of the alliteration!
I think that’s an alpaca.
Still, quite a strange pet to be taking for a walk around the lake.
