Prison inmate hospitalised

Are they being truly transparent? I’ve heard stories about guards being seriously assaulted and haven’t seen any media releases. It was interesting to read the union saying that the guards are scared to use force on prisoners they were afraid of being investigated. It sounds like a terrible place to work.

I would normally say it was Colonel Mustard in the Library with the candlestick, but i will guess it was done by Massey in the exercise yard with the weights under orders from Scott McDougall, and it is just a guess.

Poor fella is in a coma from what i have heard.

I wish I knew. I think it depends on the crime. I did not at any stage say that incarceration should not be a punishment, just that it does not offer rehabilitation. Some criminals are beyond rehabilitation.

I read this book which did help me form an opinion on this subject and I highly recommend. In short the author is a journalist that was committed enough to actually become a “Correctional Officer” for a year, being the only way he could get inside and report on the infamous Sing Sing jail.

There are some crimes that are committed by people who fully deserve that “extra punishment”.
