A 25-year-old Bonner man will face court today (Wednesday, August 1) following a burglary that occurred at the No Waste Woodbusters, Macgregor on June 30.
Acting on information received and forensic material obtained, detectives from Criminal Investigations Crime Targeting Team executed a search warrant on the man’s house yesterday morning (July 31).
During the search warrant, police seized property reported stolen from the burglary, including builder’s equipment and tools. An amount of drugs, drug paraphernalia, steroids and firearm ammunition was also seized.
At the conclusion of the search warrant, the man was arrested and taken to ACT Watch House, where he was charged with one count of burglary and one count of theft.
He will face the ACT Magistrates Court today, where police will oppose bail.
