Mawson Dominos takes a hit

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses after an aggravated robbery took place in Mawson last night (August 31).

Around 9.05pm, a man armed with a knife entered the Domino’s pizza store in Mawson Place and made demands for cash while threatened a staff member.

The staff member complied with the demands and the man fled with a sum of cash. He was last seen running in a westerly direction from the store, towards Athllon Drive.

The man can be described as 5’8” (173cm) in height, wearing a black balaclava, grey ‘hoodie’, dark coloured tracksuit pants, white gloves and white shoes.

Anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or saw a man matching the above description is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
