Anyone know what this place is? It’s halfway between Uriarra Village and Uriarra Crossing.
Almost looks like a service station to me, but somehow I don’t think anyone would put one out here.

It’s my bloody house, and it was a secret until Aubergine pointed it out!
yeh you can see the anetenna mast shadows 2 the right.
looks pretty interesting nice find
Yeah this was discussed a while ago – I looked into it and it turns out that it was a communications facility for the US Embassy.
Funnily enough it is Section 52 – someone has a sense of humour.
Its a long range communications facility that is built out in the middle of nowhere. There’s another Yagi slightly to the north when you scroll around a bit (just keep inside the very well constructed fenceline and you’ll get an idea of the size of the total installation)There’s probably some upright masts as well, but they would only be one black pixel from a birdseye perspective.
It’s obviously our version of Area 52, except they forgots to tells google not to put it on dee internets.
This was discussed a while back. Can’t remember the outcome though.
What are those things for?
The foot path is interesting. Roos, or people? Can’t see what they’re leading to but you can see where the objective is.
Ummm, yes. Interesting collection of masts, 3 dishes, and a huge yagi antenna. Not much sign of security though. Research project?
