The National Zoo and Aquarium warmly welcomes you to join them for their annual Junior Zoo Keeper Conservation Celebration Days!

This weekend is dedicated to their Junior Zoo Keepers and the conservation initiatives they have chosen to support across this special weekend.

This weekend will be dedicated to conservation with special priced encounters, cake cutting, market stalls and a scavenger hunt!

Animal Interactions
10:00am – Shark Pats
10:00am – Cheetah Feed
10:30am – Sunbear Feed
10:45am – Siamang Session
10:45am & 11am Small Snake Holds
11:15am – Lizard Pats
11:30am – Tortoise Pats
11:30am – Ringtail Lemur Feed
12:00pm – Giraffe Feed
1:00pm – Sunbear Feed
1:45pm – Tassie Devil Feed
1:45pm Bushland Aviary Entry
2:00pm – Siamang Session
2:30pm – Tiger Feed
2:30pm & 2:45pm – Small Snake Holds
3:00pm – Lizard Pats
3:15pm – Tortoise Pats

Market Stall 10am-3pm
Check out the Handmade Market Stall with animal themed merchandise created by our Junior Zoo Keeper Community.

Cake Cutting 12:45pm
Join us at the Market Stall at 12:45pm to see the Cake Competition Winners and enjoy a slice of cake for just a gold coin donation!

Scavenger Hunt
This year’s theme is “Population Peril.” Visit Endangered Species around the zoo to find the population estimates in Junior Zoo Keeper Hand Prints.

What: Junior Zoo Keeper Conservation Celebration Days
When: Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 July, 10am – 4pm
Where: National Zoo & Aquarium, Scrivener Dam, Lady Denman Drive
Cost: From $5 – $15 per person. Tickets available via National Zoo and Aquarium.
