I promise to give an update on the opera v foreshore duelling banjo situation, from the arboretum. Could be classic…
After being on site this morning at VITF, I can say the doof-doof of soundchecks from Foreshore was audible over the rehearsals at arboretum.
Just imagine, Nessun Dorma or Fledermaus with a steady bass beat. 🙂
FWIW Foreshore starts from midday – with the headliners heading to stage towards the end of the VITF program!
Happy to report no doof-doof at VITF. All well behaved over here too!
No foreshore interference at all, unless it starts during Sumi Jo. Lovely evening.

Already had a mention, but it’s last ever Funky Pleasure before the end of the world, and we are booty-shakingly excited to bring you at long last the unbelieveable ZoOpaGOo bringing you to scorchingest grooves west of the Pecos. We’re going to back to our roots with old school funk. Get on the good foot with classic platters from DJs Humplestump Buttjam, Bat Guano and Charles Scooter Cable III. Special anniversary set from DJ Catgirl. Take it to the One at the end of the night with the incomparable Squid.
