Cat of the Week: Eggward

This little guy is very much a kitten. However, you’ll need to wear gloves and a plastic overcoat to visit him because he, along with four other smaller kittens, has ringworm.

As ringworm is not uncommon, easy to treat and shows no symptoms once it has gone, RSPCA ACT has decided to make our ringworm kitties available for adoption.

Ringworm is a fungal infection, and we’ll provide you with all the necessary equipment, including medicinal bathing liquid, towels, and PPE, to help you get rid of it. It usually takes a couple of weeks and you’re home free.

Little Eggward is a great kitten who has still received all the love, attention, vaccinations, worming treatments and desexing. He’s a great little kitty, raring to become your lifelong feline friend. It’s just that he’ll need a bath twice a week for a fortnight.

Come and visit Eggward and his tiny kitten mates. Ringworm kittens are available for adoption for just $99, and we’ll supply you with everything you need.

Bindi

Dog of the Week: Bindi

Bindi does not have ringworm! In fact, she doesn’t have any ailments because, like all adult dogs at our shelter, she gets all the attention, daily walks and playtime she could ever want.

She’ll take a moment to warm to you, but when she does, she’ll show you her affectionate and soft side.

Bindi has made huge strides with us too, over a relatively short period of time, especially with toys! Upon arrival, she was very shy and appeared to have no experience with toys. Not anymore! It’s been three months since she got here and she’s learned that they can be fun and goofs off around them.

Bindi is a great dog, just over one year old and has a long and exciting future ahead of her, most likely as the best friend you’ve ever had. Visit Bindi today.

Pawnotes: A quick kitten season update for you: we currently have over 90 kittens being raised in foster homes. In about a month, they will be adoptable, and you will be astonished by how many there are to choose from.

Visit RSPCA ACT today at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life. You won’t regret it!
