Police are investigating an incident in which a primary school student was hit by a car outside a school in north Canberra.

The child was hit by the car outside Gold Creek High School in Nicholls at around 8:30 am on 23 October, an ACT Policing spokesperson said.

Paramedics provided treatment at the scene before the child was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

“Police are urging any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage who hasn’t yet spoken to police to come forward,” the spokesperson said.
