Three Canberra public schools will be fully closed tomorrow (Thursday, 20 November) as testing and remediation continues due to recalled coloured-sand products.

Education Minister Yvette Berry took to social media to inform the community that Malkara School has to shut for the rest of the week due to “additional remediation” needed on site.

“I understand that this is disruptive to parents, carers and students however safety remains our top priority,” she said.

“Thank you for your continued support and patience while we work through this.”

Neville Bonner Primary School and Ngunnawal Primary School will also be completely shut.
