Three injured people were taken to hospital after a ute flipped several times in a single-vehicle car crash in southern Canberra on the weekend.

An ACT Policing spokesperson alleged the white Mitsubishi Triton was speeding along Athllon Drive in Phillip around 6:40 pm on Saturday (10 January) before it lost control and flipped several times.

Photos show the ute upside down on the road after the crash.

Police and emergency services arrived and the ute’s three occupants were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
