Nope, you’re way off. I think its more like Longtermicus Hostpitalis

We have slime moulds in our back yard at the moment, which is a little funky but lead to a conversation where my spouse, who was unfamiliar with slime moulds, accused me of somehow causing them by doing something dodgy with chemicals and/or weird craft related materials.

Possibly young Yellow Houseplant mushrooms (Leucocoprinus birnbaumii)? It’s an introduced species

If so, don’t eat them as they are potentially poisonous.

Rule of thumb: Mushrooms with evil faces and answer to names like Deathcap, Destroying Angel, or Harbinger of Organ Failure are definitely delicious but malicious. Smiling mushrooms are okay, but only if their eyebrows are pointing up. If their eyebrows are point down, be wary >:-)
