Where to buy an overcoat in Canberra?

Try the shop in Manuka called To Desire,They had lot of beautiful over coats and stock lot of the european fashion stuff.

R M Williams do excellent warm socks with a padded base – I wear them inside instead of slippers. I got 2 pairs for $20 on special recently at their shop in Manuka.

You can survive without an overcoat, but warm feet are a must! At least one pair of thick-soled boots or shoes are essential.

That was until I bought a British 4wd a couple of years ago and associated magazines use the word.

Have to agree with those who say that an overcoat is rarely needed – and you certainly don’t need a heavy one. This is because it is not usually very windy here in winter, although it is cold at night. I bought my overcoat when I lived in Melbourne (where it is windy and wet in winter) and hardly ever wear it here.

So my advice is – don’t spend too much unless you are loaded. A nice lightweight Burberry or Aquascutum via the internet might be worth checking out. They can be found for $500ish, and never go out of fashion.
