ACT Policing is seeking assistance from the public in locating a car that may have been involved in a possible abduction early today (Thursday, November 3).
About 2.30pm, two separate witnesses reported seeing a woman get out of a white sedan, possibly a Mitsubishi Lancer, on Goyder Street in Narrabundah, near Marymead.
The woman attempted to climb a nearby fence and was dragged back to the car by a man. She appeared to be visibly distressed.
Police are appealing for help from the public in locating the vehicle involved. The vehicle is possibly a 1998 Mitsubishi Lancer with ACT registration plates. It has a front hubcap missing and a rear spoiler.
Anyone who may have seen a car matching this description and may be able to assist police with the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
