ACT man dies after truck rolls over on Federal Highway

An ACT man has died after his truck rolled on the Federal Highway near Goulburn on Wednesday morning (13 March).

Around 5:20 am, a semi-trailer carrying a generator overturned in the northbound lanes of the Federal Highway, Yarra.

The driver and sole occupant, a 56-year-old ACT man, died at the scene.

Officers from the Hume Police District attended and established a crime scene, which has been forensically examined.

The road has since been reopened and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
