A 35-year-old woman has been taken into custody this afternoon following the murder of a 30-year-old man in Southport Queensland on 30 April 2012.
Queensland Police made a formal request for assistance from ACT Policing Criminal Investigations after recent information indicated that the 35-year-old woman was residing in the ACT.
Detectives located the woman at an address in Kaleen where she was taken into custody.
The 35-year-old woman will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday morning (24 May) where Detectives from Queensland Police will seek her extradition.
