ACT Policing has arrested and charged a 29-year-old Evatt man after two suspicious fires and a bomb hoax occurred yesterday (Monday, May 30) at Westfield Belconnen.
The 29-year-old man was arrested by Belconnen General Duties members and conveyed to the ACT Watch House and charged with two counts of arson and one count of using a carriage service for a hoax threat.
The man will face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.
