Ask RiotACT: Serpentine timing belt replacement Canberra/Qbn

Hey guys.

Does anyone know of a good place in Canberra or Queanbeyan that does a reasonable price on replacing timing belts? I have an oldish BMW 120i and not really looking to get charged an arm and a leg on a new one.

That’s the best advice about getting the job done but I would also source the part required yourself. If you buy a genuine BMW one it will cost and arm and a leg (I am a former BMW owner so I know).

Get an after-market one on-line and pay much less. Then you will only have to pay for the labour to remove the old one and replace it.
