ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated burglary at a unit in Red Hill this evening (Thursday, January 31).
Around 5pm, six people broke two windows and the front door of the residence with baseball bats. The residents sustained minor injuries.
The offenders were last seen walking along Cygnet Crescent towards Manuka.
Nearby residents were able to give police a description of three of the offenders. The first offender is described as short in height, wearing black tracksuit pants and a white shirt. A second offender was wearing blue singlet top with dark shorts and white sneakers. A third offender was wearing long, dark tracksuit pants and a dark, long-sleeved shirt.
AFP Forensics attended the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have information about the incident and have not yet spoken to police to contact 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
