Territory and Municipal Services wishes to advise the public that a controlled burn will be conducted today, Monday 3 September 2012, in the Mullingarri Grasslands adjacent to Marie Pitt Street in Franklin.
The burn is approximately 64 hectares in size. A large amount of smoke is expected to occur. Every effort is made to conduct the burns in weather conditions that will minimise the impact of smoke in the area.
