ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a robbery in Braddon yesterday afternoon (Sunday, 26 June).
Around 5.40pm a man was standing at the rear of his car on Currong Street when an unknown person grabbed him from behind. The man pulled the bag from his shoulder which fell to the ground. The offender ran towards Braddon and was pursued by the victim, leaving the bag on the ground.
After giving up his pursuit the victim turned back to his car and saw a second man pick the bag up and run through Jerrilderie Court.
One of the offenders is described as tall and thin, wearing a grey coloured beanie
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the robbery yesterday to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
