The Canberra Times informs us that the much discussed Raiders’ fullback, Josh Dugan, would be very welcome at the Brumbies if he really does want out from his team, but doesn’t want to leave town.

Brumbies chief executive Andrew Fagan confirmed yesterday his coaching staff and playing group had discussed Dugan’s freakish ability with a view to him potentially leaving rugby league and playing union.

Dugan is the NRL’s hottest property.

The 20-year-old is contracted to the Raiders until the end of 2011 but has already been the focus of significant interest from rival clubs.

It’d be nice to see the Brumbies make the most of the talent they’ve got.
