my dad was best mates with trev, i was really close to him too, my dad missed work and told me i wont be able to play trevs his epiphoneson (we were going to go to his) , i said why and he told me and i burst into tears, trev we miss u soo much i wish u werent gone, rest in peace man i know u know that im saying this, from beyond peace. :'(

Wow… I’m speechless. Thanks for letting me know, and I’m really sorry to hear. Condolences to his family and friends, Trev was a sensational, kind and generous guy. We never got round to forming that Misfits cover band with Buzz, but many a late night was spent singing along with the records and a case of beer.

To emperorminge, Trevor unfortunately took his own life just a few months ago. Hopefully everyone gets down to this gig and helps remember and celebrate his life!

Punk Rock The Way Its Meant To Be!

Trevor Nation sadly left us this year, he has made such an impact on so many peoples lives and the local music scene. This show is to remember Trevor, everything he has accomplished and help celebrate the career of Buttnugget.
All proceeds from this gig will go to Buttnugget to support the release of their album paying tribute to their 17 years of punk rock n roll.

Buttnugget started way back in 1993 and have been an important part of moulding the local punk scene in Canberra and surrounding areas.
A career spanning 17 years, numerous releases and more live shows that you have had hot dinners.
One thing is for sure, these guys have always kept it the way it should be, straight down the line dirty and punk!

The Bladder Spasms have also been around from day one. Spreading there wings based in Sydney and Canberra, pioneers of the punk scene and still going as strong as the day they began.

The Dunhill Blues are the noisiest bunch of malcontents this side of the petticoat. They play rock n roll, and they play anywhere, anytime. The Dunhill Blues are just regular guys trying to get by. They have members who came from the early Canberra punk and grunge scene who also knew Trevor.

Rotten Opera are a street punk band with a dash of psychobilly! A relatively new band with years of experience in the previous rock n roll and punk scene. Its like being slapped in the face with a wet fish from the first cord and will leave you wanting more!

What happened to Trev? Late 90’s was a sweet time for the Canberra punk and metal scene – Allthroth, Golden Crop, Buttnugget, Codpeace, Petrol Pump, Slug… good times at Zorros, The Asylum, Terminus. Man, I feel old. Belcore, 2615.
