I have friends coming over from England for their honeymoon.
They will be in Canberra for 3 nights and travelling in a hired camper van.
Does anyone know any camp sites besides cotter and stuff. More closer to suburbia?

The Tent Embassy is a great location, they’ll need to bring their own generator and shower cubicle if they want to be comfortable. And if they want to get on with the other visitors they should drive a bomb and be a general eye sore.

The traditional camp site in front of Old Parliament House is very central and is free.
It is often (permanently) overlooked as an alternative to what has already been mentioned.

My parents stay there too.
Maybe check out Queanbeyan caravan park. Next to river, parks, and main street shops. Even close to a hospital if your gas stove explodes.

Presumably the caravan park on Canberra Ave, Fyshwick has van sites, but EPIC sounds a superior recommendation.
I had a work colleague who was travelling around Australia in a bus and parked t heir bus at EPIC for many months. They found it all to their liking and obviously, being where it is it’s ideally located to Civic & inner north.
