So was it the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come who has made you drop the bah humbug routine? I think that’s your first positive comment ever.

See, this is why we have to wait until December to have Christmas. If Christmas was any earlier, the Christmas goodies would get mixed up with the Easter eggs. Then we wouldn’t know if He was coming or coming again.
I wish they had an annual retail orgy for MY imaginary friend. Then we could spend 4 months in the lead-up to it eating our bodyweight in vegetable soup and buying alfoil wrapped parsnips and swedes and selling giant furry stuffed carrots and cauliflowers, and leaving secret sweet potato and bok choi presents on people’s desks when they’re not looking. Ah, but that all wouldn’t make sense would it?
I dunno, works for me
If people don’t buy them, they won’t sell them. We have only our stupid brethren to blame.

Costco had stuff out a few weeks back, probably last year’s stuff that was out the back. But proper supplies have started to arrive now.
The xmas decos and jumbo plastic stockings full of lollies have been there for at least 2 months now…Why not just sell them all year around?..Easter eggs hit the shelves in late Jan, so why waste time clearing the shelves after each holiday?-just leave them there all year.
They’ve been on display in David Jones in the City for at least the last 2 weeks..
