Not really surprised though, I was at the Casino nightclub the other week, sure enough there was trouble. People getting way to hammered to quick and nobody taking responsiobilty for it. All the bartenders did was fill everyone up with grog then stand there looking like stunned mullets when things happened.

I, like most people, have been very drunk at times.

I, like most people, have never started a fight when drunk.

I have been at office christmas parties with 300+ drunk people and there have been no fights.

I dont know why some drunk people get aggressive while other drunk people become ‘overly’ friendly or chatty or anything but not aggressive.

But I am pretty sure the people who get aggressive when drunk are perfectly aware that they get aggressive when they drink but nonetheless drink. Which means they should be treated as with drunk drivers – once, slap on the wrist and let off (assuming just a fight and not an assault like this). Second time, you were drunk and in a fight and you knew that you had a propensity to get in fights when drunk – more serious crime. 3rd time – no excuse.
