You can detect a bit of despair here about the failure of local authorities to see to the housekeepng, but…

If you go to the thread on Cycle Paths you will find a poster there who goes under the name of Walk The Talk. In his posts to an Inicio (and a Padnil) you can see (sort of) that he or she is ‘festering’ with rage. I would not be in their shoes if he or she came face to face with them. You can almost feel the heat coming out of Walk The Talk’s posts.

Having read Walk the Talks posts I can understand why they say what they say.

I do agree I could have just asked the question without including the syllogism but I like syllogisms. They can be quite useful at times.

Don’t worry- you can be sure it will all get tidied to perfection in time for Obama’s visit.

Meanwhile, the contractors providng the fireworks for Australia Day could have tidied up a lot more – so many cardboard shell cases are still on the bridge, and I’d hate to think just how many are in the lake now.

I don’t suppose it has ever occurred to any of the people complaining to spend a couple of hours on a weekend picking up trash? I know it’s probably more fun to drive past it each day and complain about it, but just a thought.

If it really bothers you, do something about it. There were articles in the canberra times earlier this year about how the maintenance budget was being slashed.
