Commonwealth Ave and Kings Ave are real choke points in Canberra traffic – maybe it is time for a new bridge??

There seemed to be nothing in the media about this until after it happened. How did hundreds of angry farmers manage to arrange a protest that seemingly no one else knew about?

They protested on the lawns outside Parliament House, then decided to come inside the Senate Gallery to protest some more. A few were escorted out, anlong with some heckling towards the Liberals, but that was about it.
