Construction has begun on a boutique collection of six luxury coastal residences in Mollymook.

Positioned at the end of a cul-de-sac with north-east facing vistas looking to Mollymook Beach, Mollymook Golf Course and Collers Beach, developer NEXOM describes Carve Mollymook as a luxury living opportunity for downsizers and investors in a highly desirable location.

“Carve Mollymook is deliberately small in scale and high in livability,” NEXOM managing director Sean Smith said.

“We set out to lift the benchmark for luxury apartment living on the South Coast, and it’s pleasing to see the vision taking shape.”

The site is now established, and a ceremonial sod-turning at 1 Buchan Street marked the project’s transition from the planning phase to the construction phase.

The building’s configuration prioritises natural light, cross-ventilation and indoor–outdoor connection, with secure lift access serving each residence and shared amenity designed for year-round use.

The development includes a mix of three and four-bedroom residences, generous living areas, resort-style amenities such as a private pool, sauna, outdoor kitchen and dining area, plus a yoga and meditation deck and a communal firepit.

Carve Mollymook is the only residential development in Mollymook and surrounds, combining both private lift access with resort-style amenities.

“Each residence is curated with refined finishes and planned to feel like a private oasis. Generous indoor and outdoor areas take in the outlook, while the shared amenity supports everyday convenience and wellbeing,” Mr Smith said.

Carve aims to fill a gap in the local housing market by offering new, available housing options. The project’s reception has been promising so far.

“Sales launched with strong enquiries from downsizers along the South Coast and lifestyle buyers from both Sydney and Canberra, seeking low-maintenance homes located a stone’s throw away from one of Australia’s most iconic beaches.”

The construction of Carve Mollymook is being brought to life by ShevGroup, a respected building company led by Joseph Shevlin. The team is experienced in delivering iconic developments across the NSW South Coast and Canberra, such as Willinga Park in Bawley Point and the Canberra Airport Precinct.
