This in from the CSIRO which sounds like fun:

After the lab coats come off and the lights do down, join CSIRO Discovery for some grown-up science fun including a science trivia quiz with great prizes.

CSIRO Discovery presents an evening of science fun for grown-ups, beginning with an explosive science show from Graham Walker from ‘Science Show-Offs’.

You ought to reward yourself after a long hard days’ work. CSIRO Discovery invites you to:

. sit back, relax and enjoy the evening
. bring out your inner child in our hands-on science laboratory
. let our 3-D theatre blow your mind
. view and handle our stick insects
. experience Discovery and its new and existing exhibits

Get your hands dirty with sci-art games, listen to tunes scratched by local DJ, and sip science-themed cocktails whipped up by the mix-masters from the ACT branch of the Australian Science Communicators.

The evening will conclude with our After Dark science Trivia Competition. Great prizes are on offer – the members of the winning table will receive one iPod each!
Book your table of six by emailing info.discovery@csiro.au or calling 02 6246 4646.
