OK, we’re all mostly back on deck now after the New Year’s hiatus.
What’s worth doing this weekend?
OK, we’re all mostly back on deck now after the New Year’s hiatus.
What’s worth doing this weekend?
OK …looks like Eurotrash night tonight in Garema
Breakfast of greasy ethnic pastry of choice in Garema en route to Gorman House….return later in the evening for national sausage/wurst on a roll with accompanying national beer…avoid the paella coz the calamari was more like rubbery foreskins [I’m guessing]
Sunday Randall-Blair and Wedded Bliss Stage 88 from 3 until 7…no PGR as the few profanities will be absent…rather like the Rolling Stones @ the SUperbowl [or so I heard at the Phoenix last night]
If we’re that hard up for things to do, then let’s have the Gay Parade after all. The good news for Maelinar is that it’s also called Carnivale, or similar.
the episodes of season one I saw I enjoyed… but its rare that Im free to sit down and watch tv at anypoint on a weekend..
Simto, I know, but there’s always hope that the best bit of television to EVER come out of America might yet get resurrected (which incidentally… – NO I’M NOT GIVING THE PLOT AWAY)
** Disclaimer **
I have already read the episode guide, so I know how it finishes – and I’m excited…
Hate to dissapoint you, Maelinar, but there isn’t a third series. It got cancelled in the states, so you’re out of luck there.
Um, the lake’s always got paddle boats going! (desparately seeking a thread-related reason to post…)
Lol K, it wasn’t reflective on my own weekend either:
Friday night – Durham (no brainer)
Saturday – Play computer games till wife tells me off and then clean up house, then play computer games
Saturday night – Drink myself silly, say funny stuff that will be used against me later
Sunday – Play computer games
Sunday night – Drink myself silly, watch Carnivale.
Actually, that sounds like a normal weekend for me. Carnivale is in it’s final episode though, there’s a number of surprises in store, looking good for a third series.

Well between the Brumbies season opener and the multiculti spectacular that’s a lot of entertainment oxygen gone.
Odd that Mael cos I seem to have an extraordinarily full schedule this weekend (and all without transport, will be interesting)…
Hmmmmm….Zywiec polish beer….hmmmmm….Greek Donuts….hmmmm…more Zywiec….
Brumbies and Force game to watch from 10:10 Friday night, JB wants to try out O’Neils Chinese Irish Pub but I prefer the cheap beer and tradition of the Tradies
