Well no, you probably dont know me but I just thoughtI’d write!!! I am just someone who is interested in Canberra…such a strange and unusual place.

Bastille Day. Aux armes, mes citoyens! Wear anything red, white and blue, erect a guillotine in Civic Sqare, decapitation for anyone who wants/deserves it. Great spectacle, rivers of blood etc and a marvellous weekend’s fun for all. Bring the family.

Now heading into our fifth year, A Bunch of Fives has presented some of the most talented, risky, experimental, moving, funny, and downright unforgettable pieces from actors and musicians accross Canberra in many hundreds of performances. Our fourth birthday is an opportunity to celebrate the ongoing contribution that A Bunch of Fives makes to the cultural landscape in the ACT, and thank those who have supported us over the years, namely The Street Theatre, As You Like It Cafe, ESP Design, ArtsACT, ABC 666, CityNews and many others.

There are no funny quotes in this email today, just a sincere invitation to come and see our 4th birthday show. Remember it’s free…all you have to do is come along and kick back whilst some of Canberra finest actors deliver monologues that will have you laughing, crying and cringing into your happy hour beer.
