A bit of a drive but the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Nowra is having a Flying day
Summer Lounge Sessions @ Bicicletta this Saturday in the New Acton Courtyard.
DJ Ashley Feraude will kick off this first of many great Summer events, music from 8pm-11pm. The kitchen will be open as normal until 10pm, but the pizza menu will be available until 11pm.

Sunday – Marques in the Park, Belconnen
Canberra is playing Melbourne in the W-League at McKellar Park this Saturday at 3pm. Canberra has won all three of its matches so far and are the ladder leaders with nine points, while Melbourne had the bye last weekend, and are sitting on four points. A victory to Canberra retains both the unbeaten run and top place, while a loss for Melbourne threatens their finals chances.

Not quite the weekend, but tonight (Thursday), from 7.30pm is the Scissors Paper Pen opening party at The Phoenix.
Storytelling, music, improv and poetry from Drew Walky, Gemma Nourse, Andrew Galan, Hal Judge, Jessie George, Improv ACT and YOU(?) at the open-mic.
Free entry, but donations are pretty rad.

The gorgeous April invites all her dearest blossoms to a garden party on Saturday November 12 at April’s Caravan on Wattle Street (opposite the Lyneham chemist).
It’s time to return to the Astro Turf for another delightful afternoon tea party with an abundance of vintage delights. There’ll be everything on sale from 1940s satin gowns to 1980s lurid knitwear, sweet spring frocks for the lasses and rockin’ summer shirts for the lads, two and three piece suits, vintage kiddy clothes, shoes, bags, scarves, hats and plenty of retro bric a brac.
There will also be vintage sounds to get you rocking and rolling provided by Little Mac and the Monster Men at noon, and The King Hits at 1. Feel free to bring along a picnic; tea and scones provided. O goody! Find April’s Caravan on Facebook for all the info.
