An 18-year-old Dickson man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today after attempting to rob a store in Dickson last night (Wednesday, September 7).
Police will allege that the man entered the Dickson Liquor Store about 8.15pm, producing a knife and threaten the shop attendant while demanding money. The shop attendant refused and the alleged offender fled the store empty handed.
A short time later, police located the alleged offender in a house in Dickson. He was arrested and taken to the ACT Regional Watch House.
The man will be charged with attempt aggravated robbery with an offensive weapon.
