Drunken Wanniassa Rampage in a White Commodore!

An unlicensed 24-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested for drink driving after crashing into a number of street fixtures in Wanniassa early today (Friday, October 14).

Police attended McBryde Crescent around 1am today after receiving reports that a white Holden Commodore station wagon had collided with several objects in the street.

After noting a fresh tyre burnout mark along the street, police located the suspect vehicle parked diagonally across the entrance of a carpark near Kimberley Gardens.

The driver was still in the vehicle, which had sustained major panel damage and had a shattered rear passenger window. Both the car’s rear tyres and the driver’s side tyre were off their rims.

Police will allege that the driver of the Commodore damaged street guttering, a light pole and a light fitting. A fixed garbage bin had been struck, torn from its concrete footing and flung 15 metres down the street.

The defendant was taken to Tuggeranong Police Station where, following a blood alcohol test, he recorded a reading of 0.228.

He will be released on watch house bail and will face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date when he will be charged with a series of traffic offences including drink-driving.

Allow me to disagree- plenty of white trash bogans wearing them, tracksuit pants.

What is this with recent spike of “necrophiliacs” reviving old, dead threads. Sure, this thread is only a couple of month old, so not fully decomposed, still has somewhat pretty, recognisable features, but has lots of juices slowly dripping out already, mix of sweetish, almond with a tinge of rotten flesh smell. Am I missing something? 🙂

Yep, that’d be it, except the cops are evidently somewhat colourblind. Quite a few people saw the incident, there was quite a crowd scoffing hamburgers in the little outside area. The workers in the Hungry Jacks and the servo went outside for a look, too.
