ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the burglary of a Braddon restaurant on Lonsdale Street between 12.00am and 4.00am on Monday (August, 26).
About 4.30am a staff member arrived at The Elk and Pea and noticed that the front door was ajar and a number of items and a sum of cash were missing from the premises. The incident was reported to ACT Policing at 8.00am by the business owner, who also identified damage to an upstairs window.
Police will review any available CCTV footage from surrounding businesses.Police would like to urge anyone who may have seen anyone behaving suspiciously in the Braddon area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
