Rotary Clubs of ACT Emergency Services Community Awards 2022 Dinner

The ACT Rotary Emergency Services Community Awards are designed to recognise our emergency service personnel whom have gone above and beyond their call of duty and reflected the Rotary motto of “Service above Self”.

RESCA is a community nominated Awards, therefore it is based on the reputation of the personnel from their local communities viewpoint.

The Rotary ACT Emergency Services Community Awards consist of Emergency Service Personnel stationed in ACT, serving in either a paid capacity or Volunteer

  • ACT Fire and Rescue
  • ACT State Emergency Service
  • ACT Ambulance Service
  • ACT Rural Fire Service
  • ACT Policing
  • All support staff for ACT Police and Emergency Services as listed above are also eligible for the awards

There are two major awards –

  • Rotary ACT Emergency Service Officer of the Year Serving in a Volunteer capacity
  • Rotary ACT Emergency Service Officer of the Year Serving in a Paid capacity

This year’s finalists:

Paid staff

  • Loryn Reynolds – ACT Policing
  • Christopher Wayne Condon – ACT Rural Fire Service
  • Megan Davis – ACT Ambulance
  • Graham Ible – ACT SES
  • Meredith Leach – ACT Support Services
  • Chris Hart – ACT Fire and Rescue

Volunteers

  • Joel Doble – ACT Rural Fire Service
  • Len Morris – ACT SES
  • Sandra Malnar – ACT Policing

2022 Awards dinner will be held at the Hellenic Club at Matilda Street Woden on Friday 12th August 2022. For more information contact the event organiser on 0412 854 047.

What: ACT RESCA Awards 2022 Dinner
When: Friday 12 August, 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Where: Hellenic Club Canberra
Cost: $50 each or $400 for a table of eight. Ticket includes 3 course meal. Tickets available from ACT RESCA.
