The Gundaroo Inn (aka Matt Crowe’s Wine Bar) 150th Anniversary
The (Commercial Hotel/ Star Wine Saloon/ Gundaroo Wine Bar/ Gundaroo Colonial Inn) Gundaroo Inn turns 150 this year and the Gundaroo & District Historical Society and Gundaroo Inn management are celebrating in September with an exhibition and BBQ.
Thursday 15 September will be the official opening of an exhibition of photographs and memorabilia in the pub by Yass Valley Council Mayor Cr Allan McGrath at 6.30pm. Visitors are welcome to attend the opening, stay on and enjoy the facilities of the Gundaroo Inn. For those staying for dinner, please make a booking by contacting The Gundaroo Inn.
On Saturday 17 September, there will be a catered barbeque (sausage and burger sizzle) in the beer garden of the pub. Bookings are necessary, please contact the The Gundaroo Inn. Guests are invited to stay on and inspect the exhibition, reconnect with friends and reminisce with a port around the fire. Those who want a more formal lunch or to stay on for dinner should make a booking.
