The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) is a musical about… musicals. Five mini-musicals.
One plot: a girl can’t pay her rent, chaos ensues. Each vignette mercilessly parodies Broadway’s biggest icons – from Rodgers & Hammerstein to Sondheim, Kander & Ebb, Jerry Herman and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The result?
A cheeky, affectionate love letter to the Great White Way, bursting with sly winks, outrageous pastiche and melodies you’ll swear you’ve heard before (because you sort of have).
