They’re back for the third iteration of the Women’s Room at the Canberra Comedy Festival. They know what you’re thinking – is anything good on its third go? Take the movie Die Hard 3 – what was that about?

However in this threequel, Trish Hurley, Tan Losanno and Jacqui Richards break the curse with their brand new show Underestimated. Trish Hurley has a new job – she’s the personality hire.

She’s been travelling the world with her reluctant uni student son and a husband hell bent on getting the best deal ever. Tan Losanno is balancing her hormones and her teenagers (don’t ask). She’s marrying anyone who turns up after doing her duty by checking that they’re not being secretly coerced; and Jacqui Richards is dodging match makers and public servants whilst wondering whether her kids have actually ever told her the truth about anything. They’re women of a certain age.

They know what it is to be underestimated and it’s a gift. Who was it that said “Never underestimate women; there’s a good reason the queen is the most powerful piece on the chessboard”? These queens of comedy draw on their busy, active, funny lives and dare you to underestimate them.
