Come on a guided tour of public artworks around the suburbs of Woden with TAC’s Exhibitions and Public Programs Manager, Ann McMahon. Discover the origins of much-loved artworks on the roadsides, in community centres and Woden Town Square.

Formerly a Public Art Program Officer with artsACT, Ann will regale you with stories about Anne Ross’ studio production process for the whimsical Lyons shops bronze sculpture, On the Road Again and Tree of Knowledge, learn about Phil Price and roadside artwork Dinornus Maximus and the nearby Woden Flood Memorial and get up close and personal with Woden town Square landmarks, Margel Hinder’s magnificent Sculptural form, Culture Fragment by locally based sculptor David Jensz and the delightful Droplet by Stuart Green.
