Over 2 nights, the Canberra Miniature Railway is having dusk & night train rides with huge Easter egg hunts. Photo: Canberra Miniature Railway.
The Canberra Miniature Railway is holding its Easter extravaganza, one of our most popular events of the year, this time with two nights to double the capacity. Rides run between 5 pm and 8 pm to start in the daylight and end in the dark under lights, but the big hits are the two Easter egg hunts, at 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm each day, where there are 4000 Easter eggs to find! A great fun event not to be missed.
Gates open at 5 so that the littlies can get some rides and an egg hunt before they have to go home to bed but the real fun starts at dusk when the whole site lights up with thousands of computer-controlled animated lights. The canteen will be open for yummy hot & cold food and drinks. Enclosed footwear is required (no thongs, sandals, etc.)
