Make your own kite – and fly it too – at the National Arboretum in Canberra. Photo: National Arboretum Canberra.

Create and decorate your own kite to fly at one of Canberra’s most scenic locations these school holidays. After the workshop, children can take their creations home with them.

In the event where the weather is unsuitable for flying, children can still make and decorate their kite. Please ensure children have a drink bottle, a sun hat and are dressed for the weather.

Suitable for ages 6 years plus. Parents/carers are free and required to stay with children for this workshop. Parents/carers will need to book a free ticket to ensure social distancing numbers. We ask that only one adult supervise each family group.

Meet at the Information Desk in the Village Centre.
