FIA ACT invites you to join us for an unforgettable movie event.
“UnCharitable” is a groundbreaking documentary led by Dan Pallotta and directed by Stephen Gyllenhaal, shining a light on the flaws within the nonprofit sector and proposing a revolutionary approach to philanthropy. Inspired by Pallotta’s TED Talk, the film features compelling personal narratives from prominent figures in philanthropy, urging viewers to reconsider traditional charity models.
This film presents a radical new way of thinking about giving, confronting the traditional societal perceptions and financial models stifling the ability of charities and not-for-profits to overcome the social and environmental
challenges they were created to solve.
Partnering with organisations including The Snow Foundation, Hands Across Canberra and the John James Foundation, “UnCharitable” challenges us to rethink our approach to giving and embrace a more impactful way of addressing global issues.
Tickets include a wine and nibbles package and opportunities to network with Canberra’s charitable community.
